As many of you wrap up your studies and head off for summer break, and as our graduates prepare to say farewell to the University, I, unfortunately, did not get the chance to meet you in person—so I’ve decided to write this letter instead.
Today, as my contract comes to an end, I am concluding my role as Chair of the Board – Rector of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University.
Over these past four years with you, I have gained profound knowledge and invaluable life experience. From each of you, I’ve learned the importance of leadership, the courage to take responsibility, and the ability to build new communities and launch new initiatives together.
You didn’t just study well — you balanced your academics with dance, music, acting, theater, volunteer work, debate clubs, entrepreneurship, and countless other social initiatives, all while upholding principles of discipline and integrity.
Every one of your victories — whether at city, national, or international competitions — felt like a personal triumph to me. Keep elevating the reputation and legacy of our University.
Whether in lecture halls, labs, schools, or within the University’s walls — you are the beginning of change. Let kindness guide your teaching and learning, let your research be driven by justice, and may your efforts push the world forward.
Our country needs you. The world needs you.
Believe in your abilities and in the power of honest work.
Believe in the strength of knowledge. Move forward with courage.
Never miss a chance to learn something new and grow.
Master your native language—and strive to speak the world’s languages with equal confidence.I extend my special gratitude to all our student leaders, club presidents and members, student vice-rectors, and our beloved student rector, Nurailym Onlasyn, for your dedication and involvement in every important University event.
Believe in the power of our university community—12,000 strong, brilliant young women.
Each of you is a shining star. I wish you happiness on your journey — and may it always lead you forward. With deep respect and unwavering belief in you,
