For the third year in a row, the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University (QyzPU) has been included in the prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2025. This global ranking evaluates universities’ contributions to achieving the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and serves as a key international indicator of higher education institutions’ performance in education, research, and social responsibility.
QyzPU’s inclusion in this ranking highlights the university’s international recognition for its achievements in these critical areas.
In 2025, a total of 2,526 universities worldwide participated in the ranking, compared to 1,963 in 2024 — a notable increase in competition, underscoring the growing relevance and strict standards of this ranking. Despite the intensified competition, QyzPU maintained its position in the 1501+ tier, once again demonstrating the effectiveness of its strategic sustainability initiatives.
QyzPU was assessed across all 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals and achieved the following results:

- Quality Education – 1001–1500
- Gender Equality – 301–400
- Clean Water and Sanitation – 801–1000

- Sustainable Cities and Communities – 801–1000

QyzPU actively implements sustainable development initiatives, promoting social justice and environmental sustainability. The university’s research activities and academic programs are closely aligned with the UN SDGs and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of sustainable society.
It’s important to note that the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings are the only global performance tables that assess universities against the full scope of the SDGs, providing a comprehensive picture of institutional commitment to sustainable development.
