    • Professional Development Course: “Chess in Education. Beginner Level. Module 3”

      From August 11 to 15, 2025, a professional development course for primary school teachers titled “Chess in Education. Beginner Level. Module 3” is being held at the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University.

      QyzPU is a strategic partner of the Kazakhstan Chess Federation in promoting chess education within the country's universities.

      The main objective of the course is to enhance the professional competencies of primary school teachers in delivering the subject “Fundamentals of Chess” to third-grade students in general education schools.

      This program represents a significant initiative aimed at implementing the directives of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the provisions of the Comprehensive Plan for the Development of Chess in the country. It aligns with the key priorities of the education system, seeks to improve its quality, and promotes the integration of modern teaching methods and pedagogical technologies.

      The course also reflects global trends in the integration of chess into the educational process and supports the development of students' cognitive, emotional, and social skills essential for the 21st century. The program is informed by the latest international research in the field of education.

      38 teachers from Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, and the regions of West Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Kyzylorda, and Pavlodar are participating in the course.

      Upon completion, participants will receive certificates confirming their qualification to teach chess to third-grade students.
