On October 9, 2025, the Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Digital Technologies of the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University hosted a scientific and practical seminar titled “Prospects for the Development of Robotic Systems in the Field of Physics.” The event was organized by the Department of Physics.
The main goal of the seminar was to discuss current scientific trends in physics, robotics, and automation, facilitate experience exchange, and promote future collaborative research initiatives.
The seminar was attended by faculty members, master’s and doctoral students of the institute. The honored guest of the event was Professor Alibek Khabiev, PhD, Deputy Director General for Research at the U.A. Zholdasbekov Institute of Mechanics and Engineering.
Engineers from the same institute, Nurgali Kumarbek and Sayat Makhmet, also took part in the seminar and shared insights into their ongoing projects and research areas.
In his presentation, Professor Khabiev emphasized the importance of integrating robotic systems with scientific research methods and outlined the theoretical foundations of modern engineering solutions. Participants also discussed the intersection of physics and digital technologies, the application of artificial intelligence elements, and opportunities for automation in industrial processes.
At the end of the seminar, participants toured the institute’s laboratories, discussed potential joint research projects, and proposed ideas for expanding the laboratory infrastructure and improving hands-on scientific exploration.
