On October 13, 2025, a psychological training session titled “Ways to Overcome Stress” was held at the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University. The event was organized by psychologists from the Mental Health Development Center, Akbota Nurlankyzy and Nazerke Yesenamankyzy, for second- and third-year students.
The main goal of the training was to help students cope with stress during the midterm assessment period, learn how to manage internal tension, and build emotional resilience. During the session, participants practiced breathing exercises, learned relaxation techniques, and completed practical tasks aimed at developing self-regulation and positive thinking.
The psychologists explained the nature of anxiety and stress in the academic environment and shared practical advice on prevention and maintaining mental well-being. Students actively participated in the discussion, asked questions, and shared their personal experiences.
This event is part of the implementation of one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals – SDG 3: “Good Health and Well-Being.” The Mental Health Development Center will continue to conduct training sessions and meetings aimed at strengthening students' psychological resilience.
