XVII Republican Student Subject Olympiad

  Dear teachers and students!

  We invite you on May 5 to the XVII Republican Student Subject Olympiad among university students on the educational program "Professional Training", held by the Department of Professional Education of the Institute of Social and Humanitarian Sciences and Arts as part of the events approved by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

  The goal of the Olympiad is to popularize scientific knowledge, identify students' interest in scientific and educational activities in both theoretical and practical aspects, develop their creative abilities and professional competencies, select and prepare talented students to participate in international Olympiads, as well as encourage them to actively participate in improving the education system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

  Participation conditions: Only one team can be nominated from the organization. The number of participants in one team should not exceed 4 people. The team must include a leader from the sending party. The Olympiad will consist of three stages: Stage I - Theoretical (testing): 30 minutes are given to complete 30 test questions; Stage II - Completion of practical tasks: 3 hours are given; Stage III - Defense of scientific projects: 3 hours are given.

  The competition committee will evaluate the participants by voting in accordance with the criteria for selecting winners in all nominations.

  The closing ceremony of the Olympiad and the awarding of the winners will take place on May 5, 2025 at 17:30.

  The languages ​​of the Olympiad are Kazakh and Russian.

  Required documents for participation: a scanned cover letter with the signature of the first head of the university (vice-rector) and applications of participants (filled out according to the sample in Appendix No. 1) must be sent before April 26, 2025 to the e-mail: tokkulieva.u@qyzpu.edu.kz
