On August 13, Deputy Akim of Almaty Azamat Kaldybekov visited the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, where he familiarized himself with the work of the Situational Center and the university's readiness for the new academic year.

The Situation Center was opened on the initiative of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with the Akimat of Almaty on the basis of QyzPU. Its main task is to ensure prompt interaction between government agencies, universities and students to systematically solve the problem of shortage of places in dormitories.

The Center unites more than 130 crisis centers in universities across the country, becoming a single coordination hub for issues of student accommodation in dormitories.

Since August 4, 2025, the Situation Center hotline has received about 250 calls. Most often, first-year students were interested in the cost of living, the timing of check-in, and the procedure for obtaining a place in a dormitory.
