QyzPU Wins National Women's Student Futsal League

  From October 3 to 7, 2025, the Republican Futsal League among female university students was held at the Sairan Arena in Astana.

  The sporting event was organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Football Federation of Kazakhstan, and Nazarbayev University.

  Six university teams from across the country took part in the tournament:

  • Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University (QyzPU)
  • Academician A. Kuatbekov University of Peoples' Friendship
  • Nazarbayev University
  • Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University
  • M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University
  • Academy of Physical Culture and Mass Sports

  The competition followed a round-robin format. QyzPU emerged as the tournament champion, defeating all opposing teams.

  According to the team’s coach, Ibragim Bisariyev, senior lecturer at the Department of Physical Education and Sports, the students had already shown strong performance in previous competitions.

  “This victory is first and foremost the result of our players’ perseverance and high-level preparation. Organizers and representatives from the sports field also praised the skill and discipline of our athletes. The university provided tremendous support.

  Sport is one of the most important values in life. People who engage in sports think quickly and adapt easily in any environment. That’s why I encourage everyone to make sports a part of their life. I would like to thank our department and university leadership for both material and moral support,” he said.

  This victory is a significant achievement for QyzPU in the field of university sports. The success of the athletes serves as an inspiration for young people to lead healthy lifestyles and strive for new heights.
