    • Educators Discussed the Role of Sustainable Development Goals in the Educational Process

      On October 10, 2025, a methodological round table was held at the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University on the topic: “The Importance of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Educational Process (Secondary School – University).” The event was attended by specialists from secondary educational institutions in Almaty, employers, methodologists, and university faculty members.

      The main goal of the round table was to discuss effective ways to integrate the Sustainable Development Goals into the educational process, strengthen the continuity between secondary schools and higher education institutions, and examine the alignment of educational programs.

      During the event, participants exchanged views on the degree of implementation of SDG principles in schools and universities, as well as their impact on the quality of education. Practical approaches and methodological solutions for integrating the SDGs into the curriculum were analyzed, and relevant proposals were presented.

      The meeting also addressed the alignment of the educational program "6B01701 – Kazakh Language and Literature" with the standard school curriculum and explored ways to improve it. In addition, opportunities for expanding the base of teaching practice for senior students and for the employment of graduates in Almaty schools were discussed.

      As a result of the round table, participants adopted a special resolution containing concrete proposals to improve the quality of education and implement the Sustainable Development Goals.

      It was noted that the exchange of experience between educators and methodologists will make a significant contribution to enhancing educational programs and effectively meeting modern requirements in the field of education.
